The SPAC clubhouse is located on the west end of the main parking lot, beside Bentos.
The clubhouse serves as a meeting place for all racers and their coaches. There is a kitchen equipped with microwaves for lunch use.
The clubhouse is open on weekends from 8:30am - 4:00pm. Midweek days and times will vary according to when the (FIS) Team is training.
Use of the clubhouse is restricted to Sun Peaks Alpine Club members.
The ski club owns 2 vans to travel to Sun Peaks, to races, and ski club events. Fuel, maintenance, inspections, and insurance costs add up to be one of the club's biggest expenses. We charge a minimal fee for general travel to Sun Peaks and racers who travel in the van to races (K2 & FIS) are charged according to fuel costs for each trip.
Cost — $10 to Sun Peaks & Return (or $5 one-way) Tickets - Payment will come from racer account for K and up. Speak to John if you plan to use the van and do not have a racer account.
Who: FIS, K2, K1, Nancy Green members & parents. The vans are generally not full, but if in the case it were full, FIS racers would receive priority for travel and then K2, K1, NG, and parents. (Due to the rate of membership fees paid by each group.)
When: Location - Halston Husky 7:30AM : Sahali Mall Parking Lot Closest to Scotia Bank 7:15AM Return 4:15 - 4:30
* Van will be in use for mid-week training but let coach know ahead of time for these days.
* There are times when no vans are available but you will receive notification by email.
